Research question
Does the order include bacteriostatic water?
A common question is whether the carton contains bacteriostatic water or another diluent. It does not. The contents are the labelled research vial, the lot certificate, and an empty pen only if that £5 line was on the order. Adding a solvent would turn a chemical delivery into a prepared solution, which is not what GetReta sells.
If the laboratory method requires a solvent, the laboratory buys it, records its own lot, and writes the preparation in the SOP. GetReta will not suggest a millilitre figure, a concentration or a hold time after mixing. Those are use instructions. They are outside the listing.
The certificate remains a description of the dry lot. Once liquid is added, you are working with your preparation, not with an unopened GetReta vial. Keep the peptide lot and any solvent lot in the same notebook line. Research use only.
