Research question
Should a lab order the 30 mg or the 40 mg vial?
GetReta lists two research vials of retatrutide. The 30 mg vial is £60. The 40 mg vial is £70, which is £10 more for the extra 10 mg of labelled peptide. Per labelled milligram that is £2.00 on the smaller vial and £1.75 on the larger one. An optional empty research pen is £5. UK tracked shipping is free on both.
The cake in either vial is lyophilised retatrutide from the same specification: HPLC at or above 99 percent, lot on the label, certificate in the carton. Choosing a size is a stock decision for the bench. A group that expects to aliquot one reference lot may prefer the 40 mg unit so the certificate covers more labelled mass. A group that wants a smaller unit for a single experiment may prefer 30 mg. GetReta does not advise how much material an assay needs.
Neither size is a prefilled pen. The vial is the product. Bacteriostatic water is not in the carton. Reconstitution, if your protocol uses it, follows the laboratory SOP, not a GetReta schedule. Research use only.
