Research question
How does Pay by Bank work at GetReta?
GetReta checkout is a guest form. You enter a name, an email, a phone if you have one, and a UK delivery address, and you tick the research-use confirmation. The total is calculated again on the server from the catalogue: £60 for each 30 mg vial, £70 for each 40 mg vial, £5 if a research pen was added, and no charge for UK shipping.
When the bank connection is live, the button is Pay by Bank. GetReta writes the order and emails orders@getreta.co.uk and the buyer, then sends the browser to the bank host. You authorise the payment in your own bank. Success and failure both return to a GetReta page that asks the bank for the status. A payment is marked paid only when that status is success and the amount matches the order. The webhook by itself is not enough.
If the bank option is switched off, checkout still saves the order and says that transfer details will be emailed. Research use only. Card numbers are not typed into GetReta.
